Catapluf’s Musical Journey.

I worked with multi-instrumentalist Adriano Adewale for this project aimed at KS2 children, aged 5 - 7.
The concept I devised was both colourful and amusing, being caricature-driven, creating Catapluf in the image of Adriano himself. I commissioned award-winning illustrator Mat Bartlett - as this suited his style - to create a full suite of marketing materials plus CD digipak case, as well as workshop sheets, and assets for teachers to take back to the classroom. 

The ilustration conveyed the spirit of the show - exploring rhythms and sounds of the world, and the fact music can be found in everything: pans, water, drums, and even the human body.

Working with Piers on the communication strategy for Catapluf’s Musical Journey yielded one of the most charming marketing assets I’ve seen.  It perfectly captured the spirit of the artist, the project and, crucially, the imaginations of the presenters and audiences.”
