EFG London Jazz Festival - 2013-21
During my eight-year period at the helm of this world-leading festival I led the event’s marketing team and introduced various different design concepts; working hard to attract new audiences who may be put off by the ‘jazz’ label. I commissioned several illustrators and creatives, including James Mayall, Nick Chaffe and Mat Bartlett, to work on the identity through the years..
Working with a title sponsor lock-up logo as well as multiple secondary stakeholders whilst driving innovations in branding meant managing complex negotiations along the way, as the festival identity developed over the years.
Campaigns included on- and off-line advertising, OOH and DOOH campaigns, creating a complex digital portal from scratch, as well as working with over 50 venues and other partners to ensure their Festival branding was in keeping with our own.
